Reviews from clients in LAS PALMAS

Welcome to Lanzarote, the island of crystal clear water beaches. In this amazing place you will find everything you are looking for: the best beaches, a unique atmosphere, a wide cultural offer and the most spectacular natural parks.

Lanzarote is inhabited by about 413,000 people. Belonging to the province of Las Palmas, it is the third most populated island of the community. Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO since 1993, it is one of the most beautiful places in the world.

Known as the Island of Volcanoes, Lanzarote has an enormous natural and geological value, with diverse and unusual landscapes. Famara-Guatifay and Los Ajaches are two mountain massifs of great attraction for its antiquity and are located respectively at the northern and southern ends of the island.

Arrecife is the capital of Lanzarote. In the city live about 57,000 people and also has the honor of being the birthplace of personalities such as the architect and artist César Manrique. One of the points of interest worth visiting in Lanzarote is the Timanfaya National Park with its beaches, volcanoes and dunes.

How to get to Lanzarote

Those tourists who prefer to travel by sea can reach Puerto del Carmen (about 15-20 minutes from the capital) and Puerto de los Mármoles (Arrecife). Most travelers, however, travel to Lanzarote through its airport, also located on the outskirts of Arrecife.

It will be very easy to reach the capital of Lanzarote by road thanks to the LZ-20, LZ-1, LZ-2 and the ring road LZ-3.

Parking your rental car in Lanzarote

Parking your rental car in Lanzarote can be complicated. In the center of Arrecife you may find some problems to find space. From Autofurgo, if you do not want to waste time, we recommend you to leave your vehicle in a municipal or private parking. A good idea is to use the parking lot on the promenade, in front of the Castillo de San Gabriel.

As we have already pointed out, you will have to pay to enter the Papagayos Beaches by car. You can leave your car in the parking lot and enter walking or cycling, although the walk is long.
